There Is Some Light

I spent the weekend at my Mom and Dad's while my Mom had her breast cancer surgery on Friday. All went well, and in the breast cancer lingo, she is a survivor.
I had a few moments by myself at their house on Saturday morning, and light was streaming in from everywhere. It felt just right, and summed up how I feel, like now there is light at the end of this tunnel.

Hi, you are in my prayers, I lost my mom at age 56 to the horrible disease, it gets most of the women on her side of the family. There is so much hope and there has got to be a cure on the horizon, thanks for sharing, I took this journey in the late 80's, I still get teary eyed knowing others have to travel this road. God bless...love your blog
