I spent some time in the thrift stores last weekend with my BFF and we had a blast. I found lots of great upcyclable jeans, belts and sweaters and also some new summer clothes and even a bathing suit! I've decided this is the best way to buy a bathing suit. Shop in a place where you can't really try on the bathing suit, you just scrutinize it well and then come home and try on in the privacy of your own home. At least this time it worked out!

So anyways, aside from the serious shopping, we had to take some time to have a good laugh at the tacky Christmas sweaters, horrible clothes that exist and the 70's polyester clothes on the racks. Evidently someone had just emptied their closet of all their polyester pant suits! When I held up the orange one for Amy to see, she said "Welcome to Burger Barn."

Perfect! We had a laugh and then went to Trader Joes for some free samples, organic coffee and white balsamic vinegar.
