We Met the Nicest Delta Airline Attendant EVER

We went to Spain this past Christmas to visit family and we had a wonderful time!

We spent a lot of time with family and had more than one lunch with the table set for more than thirty people and we got caught up with aunts, cousins, uncles and old frineds.

We were sad when we had to leave and more than a little stressed to travel in the new year after several bombimg attempts on US airlines. But when we got to the airport we meth the nicest flight attendant ever and he calmed our nerves and took care of us. While we were checking in, he admired Alex's laptop bag, and I dutifully handed him a card and wondered if he would indeed contact me to order one. Well he did! And I just finished it.

He wanted it in red white and blue. I thought it would be fitting to put a little airplane on it, and he liked the idea.

We both agreed it would be fun to stay in touch, and today he sent me a picture of his dog and her 5 puppies.

They Just Don't Make Toys Like They Used To!

We saw this doll at the Toy Museum in Figueres Spain recently on vacation. Imagine, a doll that comes complete with a bone saw! I think this might get a recall nowadays, that saw looked mighty sharp!

Legoland California vs Legoland Oakwood

Where else can you see a giant lego head of Albert Einstein?

He missed the inauguration in January, but was lucky enough to catch the Lego inauguration last week.
The only downside to 2 inspiring days at Legoland for a 10 year old? My living room floor now looks like this!

I had to get out of my sewing room for a minute because the sweaters are tantalizing me and the smell of wet wool is a little overwhelming. I've been felting and cutting and dreaming about fall purses ever since I got back from Buffalo with a fresh batch of beautiful wool sweaters. I can't wait to get started....
